An Unusual Piece
A couple of weeks ago I had an echocardiogram (long story – I’m fine) which is the same sort of test pregnant women have to take a look at their babies in utero. I’m sure seeing your unborn child is probably something so mind-blowing one could never experience anything similar, however, seeing my beating heart and hearing the whoosh whoosh of the blood was really bizarre and stunning. The doctor performing the test was great and let me see everything and answered all my questions. It was a fairly moving experience. When I got home was inspired to put down on canvas some of the thoughts swimming around in my head. Here is one piece I finished after the test. It is quite rare for me to do stuff like this, (did a lot of it in college) but it still seeps out once in a while.

Sory,kinda put a lump in my throat, cause my sister and her friend have cancer and I see this a symbol of a womens heart feeling the love and pain of being human. Thanks for sharing :-)
