Anne is Cool »

Artist and friend Anne Bossert is a weaver and woodworker who combines her talents to create the most amazing furniture. Is this cabinet not stunning? She was commissioned to do it for a couple in NYC. Her work is just brilliant. This type of art makes me miss working in other mediums.

Great Sale! »

Today I received a fantastic phone call from Melissa, owner of Your Art’s Desire in Minnetonka. It seems a lovely lady from Owatonna not only liked my work, but liked how Melissa hung it so well, she bought all eight paintings! Whew!

I needed this boost of confidence tremendously. In an economy like this, selling artwork is awfully daunting.

A big thanks to Melissa for her great eye, and the lovely lady Sally who purchased my work.

I’d better get painting!

Biggest Work Yet »

The owner/curator of Gallery 360 in Minneapolis asked me to do a very large piece for her shop for spring. I was so intimidated by the size at first, but was pleasantly surprised at how much fun working on this scale turned out to be.

This piece is 5 feet wide by 46 inches tall.

Show #1 Down »

The first of my big summer shows is now up at Beaujo’s Bistro and Wine Bar. Sixteen of my paintings are hung.

Now, it is your job to go sit at the restaurant (great place by the way – menu looks good!) and talk very loudly about how great the artwork is. Hehee!
